Carl Anderson is a senior data scientist and researcher in WeWork’s physical product research team in New York. He is currently developing machine learning models for geospatial site selection and market analytics problems as well as algorithms for automated space planning (generative design) in architecture. He has previously worked in diverse areas such as mathematical biology, lossless data compression, e-commerce, and healthcare and uses a broad set of skills and experience such as machine learning and statistics, agent based models, distributed problem solving and AI, evolutionary computation, and networks and network visualization. He is most excited about deep learning’s potential.
